Excellent product and information about the confusing and challenging SS process. I gave the book four stars only because it is somewhat complicated for the average person to understand. The author also tends to inject his humor into the complicated and confusing explanation of some rationally inexplicable SS requirements. I found it compelling to learn that the difference between taking payments early rather than later was a whopping 76% difference. This could be important for those who must rely mostly on these payments for their retirement income. Of course, one's health is always a factor to be included the decision. I would also suggest that you consider an excellent alternative produced and available by the same authors. It is computer software titled "Maximize my Social Security." Google maximizemysocialsecurity The software does most of the hard work for you. It provides the best scenario(s) for when you and or your spouse should take your social security payments. The software also produces a very nice written report that you can share with others who work with you on your financial or retirement planning goals.
